What are the ways to achieve good health.

 Hello everyone,

           According to the WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION report today life expectancy of people increases (average life expectancy in World is hovering around 71-72 years , while in U.S.A it is 76 years and in India it is 67-68 years) it is due to development in Medical Science but the Quality of life is degrade by various means such as Poor eating habits, Sedentary lifestyle, unhygienic conditions around us which are giving birth to more serious and threatening diseases such as Tuberculosis , Cancer, Mental illness etc.

  



       As we have discussed in the previous blog, that why health is important and what are its benefits ? But don't you think it is incomplete that we didn't discussed the way forward to achieve good health. Now in this blog we are going to discuss How can we achieve good health ?  Is it really that tough as we think, now let us break this myth together in this blog. We will move further step by step.

Daily Routine:- In the era of technology it become very tough to keep oneself aside of it , now in every hand we found mobile, laptop, tablets etc. which is very much responsible in ruining our daily routine , we forget when was the last time we saw Sunrise, working out , playing outdoor sports etc are becoming old fashioned, am i correct or wrong ? Because we are becoming night owl these days. Technology is for us but it should not rule our mind . We need to improve our daily routine with the following steps:-

1- Waking up early in the morning,

2- Doing some exercise, stretching, running ,yoga and meditation,

3- Have proper healthy breakfast,

4-  Completing daily routine works,

5- And try to hit the bed early so you can again start your day in the early morning.


 

Healthy Diet:- In the fast moving world we have started depending on processed food, fast food, which not only harmful for our health but also for the future generation to come. According to the report of WHO , child stunting( low height for age), child wasting(  low weight for height), diabetes and obesity among young and old age generation is increasing throughout the world and these result are not good for human existence. Following are the diet steps which we can follow:-

1- Diet should be balanced in Carbohydrate, Protein, Fats, all are important but other than this Vitamins such as A, B6, B12, C, D, E are required to body for functioning effectively, there are some minerals such as Zinc, Iron, Magnesium, Selenium which help in the synthesis and absorption of vitamin,

2- Eat more whole grain food and include some fruits in diet and less processed food,

3-Diet low in saturated fat & cholesterol and moderate in sugar, salt and total fat,

4- Keep yourself away from tobacco and alcohol and other intoxicating drugs.


 

Workout plans:- To move out from lazy and sedentary lifestyle having a good workout is very much needed. Working out will regulate the blood flow in whole body and keep activated muscle and mind. you can follow these steps to enhance  joy of life:-

1- you can join any gym or yoga session,

2- join karate, martial arts, calisthenics classes ,

3- You can also go for Jogging, Running, Swimming,

4- Play outdoor sports weekly if not daily,

5- If nothing else do some home workout and dance can also be a great option.

 

Healthy Habits:- Here are some healthy habits tips to improve and maintain good health:-

1- Daily healthy habits such as Brush your teeth , taking bath ,

2- Manage to drink 3-4 liter of water,

3- Go offline avoid doomscrolling(unknowingly scrolling or mindlessly scrolling) on negative news,

4- Try to learn something new ,

5- Wearing mask and sunglasses while you are outside,

6- Avoid anxiety and stress for those thing which are not in your hand,

7- Reduce sitting time at one place,

8- Get sound sleep,

9- Get a habit of book reading,

10- Eat more plant based food.

          We have seen why and how our life is becoming more monotonous while it is surrounded by technology, eating mindlessly , overeating, and not adopting healthy habits which help us in personality development, a good human being .
